Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun

So I'm sure you've all heard -unless you aren't as into the series as me- that midnight sun is on hold. I'm not even going to mention why. Go see her site here if you need to know. I just wanted you to know what I thought about it. I posted this as a comment on another blog, and I want to show you. you should read this even if you don't like the series, because you can make it about any series that has been effected in this way.

"That post of hers seriously made me cry. I can understand how she feels, but even worse she made her post SOUND like how she felt. I love when writers do that in books, to get the emotion across, but the fact that this was REAL made it terrible!

I understand not reading it, too. I know I'm not going to, but not just because of her feelings, or because I'm lazy. (Those are both true, but still...) It would feel so wrong! Reading something so unfinished, something she is so sad about happening that she QUIT writing it. I would feel terrible just looking at it!

I was so looking forward to that book, too.
It makes me feel sad, too. (Though, probably not on the same level)"

So hopefully she'll keep writing, hopefully she won't get a ton of views on that rough draft -even though I'm sure she will- and hopefully she won't kill anyone off, because that wouldn't fit nicely...

I'm Back!

I know it's not thursday. I know I said I wouldn't blog until thursday. I know I'm a liar now. Whatever. It was boring because everything was closed, so we came home early. You'll just have to deal with that.

I'm very tired. I don't sleep well away from home. I know I get tired easily. Once again, deal with it.

While I was away I saw the movie "House Bunny" it was funny, I guess. The nerdy girls reminded me of myself, though. That made me depressed...

Otherwise my vacation was mostly spent inside a seedy hotel room.

I know I haven't blogged in what seems like forever, but I've been busy helping with weddings and such. I stayed up 'til midnight last night because of a wedding reception. Which is why I'm sleepy...

Ahead of schedule, behind on blogging.

once again my book obsession has coincided with my internet obsession. I was reading all day yesterday and had no time to blog. On the plus side though I finished the book "princess ben." Three or four down eleven to go. Since there are 17 more days before school starts and I average at about one book per day that means I am ahead of schedule. That is not to say I'm not still worried about finishing all of these books, or worried about the next school year, but it eases (spell check) my concience (spell check) a little bit.

Getting back to the book I just finished. I will NOT spoil it for you. (I always have to tell myself that, even if you're sick of hearing it) I will say, though, it was interesting. It gives you a really good look into the lives of royalty of the time period -even if it is actually an adult version fairy tale. The beginning of the book needs work. There seems to be no plot or problems at all, which does explain the trouble coping in a high society life, but it doesn't get interesting until about chapter 8.

You may have noticed the spell check markings on this post and on other posts. I will someday actually spell things correctly, today though you'll just have to sound it out :)

I'm going to walk the dogs over to DQ soon so I'd better leave... but did I ever tell you my theory on DQ and BK?
I think Dairy Queen and Burger King should get married. Think about it. Cow Royalty. The fact that BK has terrible ice cream, and DQ seriously needs to sell icees, adds to my theory. Has no one else noticed this?

Yeah, I should go before I begin to start more insane.

Mini Blog: Sleepy...

I'm sleepy. BB was over yesterday & the day before. I got very little sleep.

I watched middle man on monday. I actually like that show... This is a great improvement on the fact that I never watch TV.

I'm going to quiznos for lunch. It's wednesday which means mom takes me to lunch.

I'm so sleepy, I'm just gonna take a nap.

Travian and Corn

I've just started playing this online game called Travian. It takes forever and a day just waiting for them to build things. I'm still in the introduction! It's been at least three days!

While waiting for things to be built I have to do other things with my time. Like eat dinner (corn, a cheese hot dog, various fruits, and potato salad), get the own your friends application on myspace, finish the "pirates of the caribbean" cross stitch I've been working on, listen to music, play Gaia pinball and more!

With this newfound free time I also went driving this morning -when I say morning I mean about 10:30 am, when I wake up- with my grandpa. We went to the fairgrounds and drove around for a while, then I drove home. For all of you that drive all the time this may seem easy, but it took me almost an hour. I'm a beginner, folks!

BB is coming over tomorrow so I'd better get going with my chores,

Mini Blog: Weddings

I went to a wedding and reception yesterday. I was the present watcher/ cupcake hander-outer... I danced and stuff until 10:30 at night.

I have to do the same thing in two weeks with my godbrother/cousin/brother. No one really seems to know that we're not actually related. His fiance thinks we're cousins. His best man thinks I'm his sister. His mom is one of my godmothers, but his dad isn't my god father. Does that make us step-god siblings?

Mini Blog: Breaking Dawn... have YOU finished yet?

I haven't started it yet. I feel really bad about it, too. After all I got sick after staying up drinking coffee all night waiting to get it. I still need to finish generation dead. Luckilly, I finished Candy Freak last night otherwise i would still have TWO books to finish. I really want to start it though!

I have my rescheduled driving hour on wednesday. Here come the nerves, back again to haunt me. I will start to feel sick again... oh gosh.

I really don't have much else to say.
