Deviant Update: Stress and MN-TX accents

This kind of post is copied directly from my Deviantart (or copied from here onto DA, although not in this case) because I am too busy right now to make two separate posts.

I've got to study for finals. I've got to study for finals. I've got to study for finals.

...This isn't working.

I'm not really motivated to take any of these stupid tests! It's like senioritis except I'm a junior. I've never really had this before. I mean sure I've always been a procrastinator, but I've got a weak point for deadlines. I don't like the disappointed feeling that I get when I don't get things done in time. Not like someone I know who likes to wave as deadlines pass her by *ahem* *ahem*

It doesn't help that I'll be missing a day of finals, either. I'm going to Texas next week Friday and I'm super excited! I would love my schedule for finals this year, except for the fact that I have to do make-up tests during my open hours.

Schedule is as follows:
Wednesday
1. Open- I need to finish the motor for my physics grade if not already finished.
2. English- work/presentation time. I'm already done with the project. I don't need to be in class.
***Lunch Break***
3. T.A.- I don't need to help Mrs. Milburn, who is gone for the rest of the year. Economics make-up test will be done during this hour.

Thursday
4. Latin- this test is gonna suck because I know nothing. Well... I know the stuff I should have known for last year (I always seem to be a year behind when it comes to this class)
5. Lunch- makes lunch hour extra long
***Lunch Break***
6. Math- I always do well on math finals for some reason. I don't particularly like math, but I do well enough in it.

Would-be Friday if I wasn't leaving for Texas
7. Economics- test will be taken 3rd hour. This one should be pretty easy. We're going to review for it on Monday and Tuesday next week and he got rid of some questions because of our fundraising efforts for Haiti.
8. Physics- building a motor, because we took our final early for all of the seniors in this class with me

Anyway, the reason I'm leaving for Texas is to surprise my cousins, one of whom is graduating this year. My grandparents and parents and I are driving down there in order to congratulate her and talk to my other 2 cousins that live there.

I'm more excited about something other than the fact that we're traveling though: the fact that my cousins have the BEST accents EVER! Seriously, they were raised in Minnesota part of the time like me, but they also have lived in Texas for a while, too. So they have a mix between a Minnesotan accent and a Texan accent and it's fantastic!

Last week in Texas it was 97 degrees! I can't wait for warm weather again, because lately all it's been doing around here is raining.

My birthday is ten days from now! Woot woot.

Response: "So, you're the one person who isn't someone I know. In that case... I want money."

Yes. That's what I've been telling everyone. (Including strangers, apparently.) I need money for my Latin trip to Italy and Greece next year... so I've been begging for cash from everyone I know. Well, except my friends, since I know they're broke, too. I ask for cake from them. After all, the 24th is international give Haley cake day!

I'm excited for my birthday, though, because my physics class is going to valley fair! And I'm bringing a slinky! (That's an inside joke with somebody I met on Deviantart!)
